Characters and other things...... - Guild Wars Forums

i know, i have read about a dozen or so places on here about how you have your name saved, thats how you will get your 'special' weapon, ect. so on and so forth. now, say, you create a character with a name...say, "chucky cheese" for example. during the Beta, after release, you use the name...bla, bla, bla... get tired of the character, deleate it, create a new one with the same name... is there some way to make sure their special weapons/items get distributed only once?
and also, the preorder items, when salvaged, they will be like any other salvaged items? right? nothing special that anyone is counting on that they could produce just for the beta players?
i know the second question didnt come out as i wanted.... but it is still meant the same.
also, i have played since the very 1st FFA weekend. now, i have a good memory of the first first and second FFA weekend, that is supposed to be the area 'after' ascention? from Lions Arch on or is it after that?

somebody mentioned no salvage or trading on the special items

items are account based not the character
